Beautiful sunrise, 31 degrees, north wind with a few breaks in the clouds.  Mostly cloudy and windy today with a high of 38 and a low of 29 tonight.  About the same tomorrow, slightly less wind.  Snow starting Wednesday afternoon, lots of snow and strong NNE wind Thursday, totaling 7-14 inches.  A stiff NE breeze Wednesday with a high of 35 and a low of 26. A high of 32 and a low of 25 Thursday.  Cloudy Friday with a south breeze, a high of 39 and a low of 25.  Cloudy Saturday with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 40 and a low of 26.  A few breaks in the clouds Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 42 and a low of 27.  PM rain/snow showers next Monday with a strong NNE breeze, a high of 41 and a low of 31.  Morning snow showers next Tuesday with a north wind, a high of 40 and a low of 26.  Pleasant days the rest of the  weed, rain/snow showers the weekend of the 17th.

      Darel had a good day yesterday.  Church was good and high school basketball was on the TV in the afternoon.  He though he'd like to go to Bangor late afternoon but I nixed that so we went to Bradford store.

      I finished last week's shipment yesterday afternoon.  Next week's come late Wednesday.  No one will be working Wednesday fi the storm is what they say.  Thursday morning is supposed to be the height of it.  Wednesday morning we'll take up the hose.  Sure has been nice having water at our fingertips and not having to keep rolling out the hose.  It will go back out after the storm clean up.

      Do you remember me saying the chickadees were really working over the chestnut tree, pecking under the bark.  i now know why.  When there are no finches at the feeder the chickadees hide sunflower seeds in the horse chestnut tree.  When the finches are at the feeder the chickadees eat at the chestnut tree.
