Darel had a good day yesterday even though his legs and feet were very swollen from the night before. The highlight of the day was meeting Mike and Heather at Countryside for supper.  Mike has gotten pretty cool as a wheelchair handler.
The hose was repaired and rerun yesterday morning.  Just in time, the sunny days dried out the greenhouse.  Watering took a couple hours.  Brain go several perennials potted.  Probably be almost two weeks before they can go out a the cold frame.  right now there is so much snow on it we can't even put the plastic on it.  Big Andrew put a wall down the enter of the hoop house making it sturdy  and less likely to collapse in a heavy snow.
Pussy Willows are out.  A flock of grackles is back.  So far they haven't come near the feeders.  Yesterday we had many goldfinches, some purple finches, a few redpolls, chickadees and woodpeckers all at the feeders at the some time.
      have a good day, Sally
