Flashing speed limit sign on the Maine Interstate: 87 is Gronk's number, not the speed limit.
Usually I wash my trays in the fall with the hose, drying them in the sun. I didn't do it last fall so I had to do it in the kitchen sink yesterday. Made a mess but they are ready to plant.
Not the big flock but still a lot of finches glad to have some easy food yesterday. Local finches because my working at the kitchen sink didn't bother them. Lots of other birds but no cardinals. We didn't get a lot of snow, three inches, maybe more. but it was a cold windy morning. At least the ice is covered. much easier walking. i know what is under the snow so I'm careful. Andrew may decide he needs to shovel out the greenhouses rather than work inside the greenhouse.
I'm still working on shipping for my nursery order. We may have to combine with a greenhouse in Farmington to get to the minimum. I am putting so much effort into buying from Baileys because of their insecticide policy. I don't want any residue in the plants. I wish they would ship the bareroot order and the container order on the same truck.
Have a good day, Sally
