Darel had another good day yesterday, church went well. He sit in the dark a bit because i forgot to come in and turn the light on. I'll try not to do that again. I don't usually work on Sunday but lil Andrew was here helping me do last minute things to get ready for today's arrival of the first shipment of plugs and cuttings.
Last night's snow/wintery mix didn't make for slippery walking. It did show skunk tracks by the garage door. i'm glad walking is good, I now go out the front door to put wood on the fires. I can imagine a skunk walking in the garage why I'm out in the greenhouse. The birds are glad I filled the feeders yesterday, the kitchen garden is alive with motion.
I lined who is working when yesterday, seems like I'm doing everything last minute this year. I'm very fortunate to have such very good help. Mostly people who have jobs and want to work part time for extra money and love getting a jump on spring in the greenhouse. Rachael is my transplanting mainstay these weeks between basketball and track. We have two Debbies, our Debbie and the other Debbie! Our Debbie is coming over after work today to help Rachael and I unpack, inspect, and water today's shipment. It is large enough to be coming direct from Jolly Farmer on their heated trailer.
Have a good day, Sally
