A nice quiet day, everything was normal!  Once again Darel has come back from an "event".
Lots of outside work got done yesterday.  Contents of hanging pots, containers and annual flowers still blooming all went on the compost pile. I've never emptied the flower gardens that weren't frosted.  They were battered some by Monday's storm which made it easier.  Lots of wood was stacked.  Roses and clematis are all tucked in for the winter in the barn with dryer sheets in the roses.  The rest of the hoses and reels are put away.  i had good help, the man who helps Doug some spent the morning.  We got everything done before the rains started.
Today I'm going to fill some water buckets in the greenhouse and turn the water off.  I still have potting to do, it will be pleasant in the greenhouse on sunny days.  I have lots of picking up to do before Friday's winds.  The get together room is full of boxes waiting to go down cellar.  I won't be having anyone to dinner for a few days!
I have a doctor's appointment this morning.  Today is garbage pickup day so I need to get Darel's breakfast and get him ready for the day so I have time to take  out garbage.  Nicole is going to stay with Darel.  Enjoy your day, Sally
