Sunny with some high thin clouds, a gentle SW breeze and 59 degrees.  Scattered thunderstorms today with SSW breezes, a high of 77 and a low of 58.  Sunny tomorrow with a west breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 57.  Mostly cloudy Monday with a SW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 61.  Afternoon thunderstorms with a brisk SSW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 60.  Sunny Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 52.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a west breeze, a high of  76 and a low of 56.  Possible afternoon showers Friday with a south breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 60.  Partly cloudy next weekend with WSW breezes, highs of 80 and lows about 68.  Possible morning showers Monday, the 17th, with a SSW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 59.  Sunny Tuesday,, the 18th, with a SSW breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 63.  Scatted thunderstorms the next two days with highs in the low eighties.

     We were thankful for another pleasant day yesterday.  Darel had a comfortable day, enjoying visitors and napping in between visits.  Broken bales were rebaled as was any other hay missed in the rush to get as much done as possible Thursday.  Most went in the barn but. some was delivered to hay customers who were out of hay.  Even though the hay is in we aren't happy about the forecast of thunderstorms this afternoon.  Today is Ashley and Jake's wedding day, an outside wedding.  Gilbert and Barbie are staying home with us.  Tiffany and Rachael will go.

     The pullets have been moved out of the brooder room.  The swallows nesting in the brooder room were very upset, scolding and diving at me as I caught up the pullets. The pullets are much easier to care for now.  In a few days i will let them out in a fenced in yard.

     I watered the fruit trees, grapes and blueberries yesterday.  Rachael watered everything else, fertilizing the annual flowers.  I had worked on shrubs some Thursday, yesterday Brian weeded the rest of them as well as the display area.  There were lots of blank spaces in the display area, he filled them with shrubs from out back.  Once the area was full he set the automatic watering system back up.   This morning I will water the hanging plants I water every day and my house plants.   then i can get back to planting flowers and weeding.
