7/13/17
There is always always something to be thankful for.

I wondered if that stretch of hay weather in yesterday's forecast would hold up.  It didn't.  It has been raining, .29 inches so far, calm and 54 degrees.  Rain today with a NNE breeze, a high of 66 and dropping to 49 tonight.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with an ESE breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 56.  Possible morning showers Saturday with a light ESE breeze, a high of 70 and a low of 58.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a SSW breeze, a high of 84 and a low of 61.  Scattered thunderstorms Monday with a SSE breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 62.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun Tuesday with a south breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 63.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a SW breeze, a high of 86 and a low of 64. A possible PM shower next Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 59.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a light ENE breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 58.  Afternoon showers Saturday, the 22ed, with a SW breeze, a high of 777 and a low of 59.  Possibly a showers Sunday afternoon, the 23rd, with a south breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 59.  Maybe some morning showers on Monday, the 24th, with a SW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 59.  Sunny Tuesday, the 25th and Wednesday with Scattered thunderstorms Thursday, the 27th.
Darel slept quite a bit yesterday.  He did not have a good night Tuesday and woke up a bit confused and slurring his works a little.  As yesterday went on his came back to himself.
Although each time that happens he seems a little frailer.  He enjoyed another wheelchair ride.  This time the cows were where he could see them, even mooed at him.  Gilbert took him through the display area too.   He slept well last night.
Rain is .40 now.  I dug a few potatoes yesterday and was surprised at how dry the ground was.  I'll probably start water cucumbers and onions in a few days.  The onions and strawberries are all weeded.  I planted more flowers.  I plan to plant some more between rains today.  I'm going to plant the basil and fennel we have left.
Today is Andrew and Gayle's day to be here. Darel is awake now so I'm getting breakfast.  Have a good day, Sally
