Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  Chilly enough so he didn’t spend much time in the greenhouse chair.  We went for a short ride in the evening, I delivered a memorial rose bush.
Lots of people had a killing frost yesterday morning.  Not everyone covered their tender plants up so there were some sad people.  Last night wasn’t quite as cold but I’m sure everyone covered up what they had left.  We were ok up on this hill though Gilbert said there was frost on their cars.
Today we will start planting cucumbers and other warm loving plants.  I’ll be putting hoops with remay on them over the cucumbers.
Jr mowed and weed walked so everything looks well kept.  Unfortunately that includes the bee balm.  Something that shouldn’t always seems to get it the first weed whacking.  Bee Balm is tough, it will grow back soon. Fixing a leaking hose first thing this morning, the weed whacker may have caught that just right.  Usually it doesn’t bother hoses, just the off/ons on the y’s.
Looking forward to getting lots done today.  Hoping your day is good also.  Sally
