Clear with a variable breeze and 61 degrees.  Sunny today with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 54.  Sunny tomorrow with a WNW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 54.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a stiff south breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 63.  Scattered thunderstorms Wednesday, some showers Wednesday night. A south breeze with a high of 77 and a low of 65.  Scattered thunderstorms Thursday and Thursday night with a south breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 64.  Scattered thunderstorms Friday, clearing Friday night.  A high of 79 with a west breeze and a low of 57.  Even though August is forecast to be above average temperatures night time lows are forecast to be in the fifties instead of sixties.  Cooler, highs about 74 next weekend but sunny.  Except for a possible showers on the 14th the  next week and weekend of the 17th and 18th  are forecast to be pleasant with highs in the high seventies, eighty the middle of the month.

     Darel's day was quiet yesterday.  In the evening we met up with Andrew and family at the Creamery.

     A truck hit a power pole late in the store parking lot yesterday afternoon just as i came in to start the fire for supper.  We didn't get power back until 11:20.  I have watering to do this morning before church.  Some  plants that need water are at the end of a long hose so I either water them early in the morning before the hose heats up or in the evening after it cools off.  I hate running all the hot water out of the hose, it seems such a waste!  I need to fill the jugs to take water to church for the church begonias.  We didn't get to church last week because i was watering.  I was  making sure everything was watered yesterday so that didn't happen again.

     A beautiful day, I do notice the sun is coming up later.    A fine day to worship and give thanks to our Lord, Sally
