Darel had a good day yesterday.  We not only were able to go to church but stayed for the dinner celebrating our pastor signing on to pastor us for another year.  He was too tired in the evening to want to go to the Creamery.  Since we didn't go to the Creamery i cut up the rhubarb in the cooler for our freezer and picked fresh rhubarb for sale.
Several people have asked about flowers that deer and woodchucks dislike.  Although at times they will eat anything there are several plants they dislike.  In between some naps I made a list of annuals and perennial I have that they usually leave alone.  I tried to send the list out on the loop.  My "sent" button isn't showing me everything i send so I'm not sure i succeeded.  I tried to put it on FB but FB insisted on running everything together instead of a list.
Today we will dump the saucers we have under some plants and shrubs that usually need lots of water.  Too much water isn't good either!  And we'll be weeding.  We still have some cole crops, celery and squash plants to give away.
      Have a good day, Sally
