Darel had another good day yesterday.  We needed weed whacker gas so of course that meant a stop at the creamery.
Another day of weeding, weed whacking and rearranging perennials so people will notice them.  i heard a lot of bees working , thought they were working the mint They were, but those insignificant flowers on the heuchera (coral bells) are loved by the bees.  It looked like every tiny blossom had a bee on it.  I knew the hummingbirds liked them but I didn't know the bees were so attracted to them.  I like them for their purple foliage.
We have cantaloupe, honey dews, and watermelon in the stand now.  And of course vegetables.  Heather bought them from her garden.
Along with some peaches.  But only one basket of them made it to the stand.  Old fashioned watermelon with the seeds.  People say they had forgotten how good the watermelon with seeds tasted.
This rainy day has good timing.  My supply order has to be in by Monday to get my discount.  Have a good day, Sally
