Darel had a good day yesterday.  Visiting in the morning and going to Bangor for an oil change and some other errands in the afternoon.
The red squirrel cuts off the head of the sunflower, , holds it in his front paws and eats it like an ear of corn.  Ot even eats quite a bit of the center.  Too bad that they  can cause so much havoc.
Weeding, harvesting and watering yesterday.  Today I'll be running the soaker hose on the cucumbers, even if we get today's forecast thunderstorms it won't be enough water for the cucumbers.
There were two pullet eggs yesterday.  That means it is time to think about butchering some old hens.  Fall is coming way too fast!  We need to take time to enjoy all the flowers that are blooming!  Have a good day, Sally
